Here comes the Teet!
We all had begun to think that the Harris Teeter on Kalorama east of Adams Morgan was nothing but a legend fabricated by real estate agents and wishful shoppers. But lo and behold, the sign went up last weekend and word is that the grand opening is only about a month away.
Located just a few short blocks from my house, the new HT will not only kick up the property values, but should make food shopping during the week much more enjoyable.
The Germeridian just keeps gettin' better.

Never heard of it. I guess I will have to make do with my ragtag Whole Foods HQ across the street.
Yah, I had never heard of it either until I moved here, Zoe. It's a grocery store positioned between Safeway and Whole Foods, so you can get both corn fed beef and Oreos in the same place. Gotta love that.
I love Whole Foods, and there is one within walking distance from me, but it's a LOOOONG walk which makes it awkward when I need to buy milk and a six pack.
You live across from the Whole Foods mother ship - you can't get much better than that.
I do like the idea of being able to buy gourmet cheese and Diet Coke at the same place...
Can't wait for the parking nightmare.
